Founded in 1978 by Cesar Chavez, FIELD is dedicated to helping rural workers, families and communities. Whether you are working in education, job training, or program development, FIELD needs workers with passion, a spirit of collaboration, and a devotion and loyalty to helping people in need. WHY TEACH FOR FIELD?
EPIC teachers want to make a difference. Many of our teachers come to us straight out of college; others were retired and decided they wanted to work on a part-time basis. Above all, EPIC teachers have the satisfaction of knowing they help improve the lives of others. EPIC teachers make social change, inspire entrepreneurs, and give disadvantaged young adults opportunities to overcome social and economic barriers.
